Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 June 2026

These terms govern your use of TheWorldSays. By using the site you agree to them. We've kept them short and readable.

1. The service

TheWorldSays is a live, anonymous polling platform that lets anyone answer one question at a time and see aggregated global results. During the coming-soon phase, the service consists of this site and an optional email waitlist.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no automated or fraudulent voting, no attempts to manipulate results, no scraping at a scale that burdens the service, and nothing unlawful.

We use rate limiting and bot-detection to keep results honest, and may block access that breaches these terms.

3. Anonymity and one vote

Voting is anonymous and limited to one vote per question, enforced technically. You are responsible for the answers you submit.

4. Intellectual property

The TheWorldSays name, design, and software are ours. Aggregated, anonymous results may be published openly; where we offer them under an open licence, that licence will be stated.

5. No warranty

The service is provided β€œas is”, without warranties of any kind. We aim for accurate, representative results but cannot guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or statistically perfect.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TheWorldSays is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
